Background Kari Allen began her career in hospitality as a student at the University of Iowa. While completing her degree, she began working at the main hotel on campus. Upon returning to Chicago she continued her career with hotels at the Fairmont, where her passion for guests bloomed. Wanting to understand the business from all aspects, she learned the trade with positions in restaurants, country clubs, hotels, airlines and entertainment venues. The constant that bridged all positions was the feeling of extreme joy in being part of the team that created a life-lasting impression on the hearts of her clients.
